Today Ubisoft announced development of the fifth game in the [I]Rainbow Six[/I] franchise. [I]Tom Clancy?s Rainbow Six: Vegas[/I] is being developed by Ubisoft?s Montreal studio for current and next-generation consoles.
Sin City, perhaps the world?s most famous (infamous) city will be held hostage by terrorists. The Vegas Strip will be the setting for Team Rainbow?s next mission.
?Rainbow Six is back and better than ever,? said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing at Ubisoft. ?Building upon the online success of the Rainbow Six franchise and harnessing the power of the next-generation experience, Tom Clancy?s Rainbow Six Vegas will be the benchmark against which all next-generation games will be measured.?
[I]Rainbow Six: Vegas[/I] is scheduled for release this fall. Tom Clancy fans have a lot to look forward to; [I]Tom Clancy?s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter[/I] is scheduled for release this week, [I]Tom Clancy?s Splinter Cell Double Agent[/I] will be out in September, making [I]Rainbow Six: Vegas[/I] the third high profile franchise release of the year.
