Nintendo is getting back in the baseball game arena as they officially announced [I] Pennant Chase Baseball[/i] today. In development by Exile Interactive and Nintendo, [I] Pennant Chase[/i] will include players from every MLB team, as well as old and new ball parks. Gracing the cover for the game will be Big Papi himself, Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz.
The game will also feature real-time, in-game commentary by sportscasters Bob Brenly, Rick Rizzs and Tyler Hutlyer. Brenly is better known for managing the Arizona Diamondbacks to a World Series Championship in 2001, but has since become an announcer for the Chicago Cubs. The Mariners super duo of Rizz and Hutlyer have been both been announcers with the organization since the 1980’s.
[I] Pennant Chase Baseball[/i] will ship this spring for the GameCube.
