Activision announced that Little League World Series Baseball 2010 is now available for the first time on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. The franchise has moved to high definition and added more features while retaining the Little League spirit that made past games such a hit with kids and families.
"Little League World Series Baseball 2010 is an outstanding choice for households with baseball and videogame fans," said David Oxford, Activision Publishing. "The accessible controls, safe content and $39.99 price make it the most family friendly console game of the summer."
Little League World Series Baseball 2010 brings an all new Season Mode, where players compete for first in the standings while playing through a twenty game season, and Career Mode has been expanded. Deeper character customization and even more in-game awards are going to wow newcomers to the franchise and existing fans alike. New online functionality offers the ability to upload records and track leaderboards, rounding out a complete baseball package that rivals the full priced baseball titles.
