Blizzard Entertainment Inc. announced today that the multimillion record selling band The Offspring would headline the closing-night concert at BlizzCon. BlizzCon is a two-day show, October 28 and 29, in Anaheim, CA that will feature an official tournament, contests, and Q&A sessions with Blizzard developers.
Concert tickets are not being sold separate from the BlizzCon ShowPasses, which are now sold out. Blizzard has announced that a limited number of BlizzCon ShowPasses may become available in October. Those interested should watch the BlizzCon website, www.blizzcon.com.
Mike Morhaime, president and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment, said he was excited to have The Offspring headlining the concert. ??we wanted to book a truly epic band for this event,? said Morhaime.
