Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced several new games that have reached Greatest Hit status. Starting on April 5th 2009, the following PSP games will be sold for $19.99 and have that ugly red stripe across all their box art. In alphabetical order:
Fight Night Round 3 (EA)
God of War: Chains of Olympus (SCEA)
Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (EA)
Mortal Kombat: Unchained (Midway)
SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: Tactical Strike (SCEA)
Sonic Rivals 2 (Sega)
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Yellow Avenger (THQ)
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter 2 (Ubisoft)
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas (Ubisoft)
Some PSP owners might have waiting for this program to be applied to God of War, but there is no question that all PSP owners have been holding out on buying SpongeBob SquarePants: The Yellow Avenger. There has never been a better time to buy a game about an annoying sponge. Because if you have the choice to play a game about a mortal mercilessly killing gods and their minors with permanently attached razor sharp blades or a game about a brainless creature that absorbs water… we think this is a no brainer. Sponges everywhere, rejoice.
