Majesco has announced to that that they have acquired the rights to the movie “Jaws.” The video game is being developed by Appaloosa and is scheduled for release in the summer of 2005. The game release will coincide with the theatrical release’s 30th anniversary.
“Without a doubt, ?Jaws’ is one of the most revered classics of all time. The film’s mixture of action, adventure and suspense terrified the masses,” said Jesse Sutton, chief executive officer of Majesco. “The game will capture that same action and excitement as the movie, but this time, the shark enjoys some pay-back.”
Instead of fighting the great white shark, this game will allow you to be him and defend the deep ocean waters. Jaws will have action-based puzzles and be released for the PS2, Xbox, and PC.
