Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth is not a short game. It’s a thrilling visual novel and SRPG adventure that will take you around 80+ hours to complete. That’s a whole lot of political intrigue to experience, relationships to build, and battles to win in one game. Defeating the Yamato Empire and its usurper isn’t going to happen overnight, so it makes sense that we created a launch edition that contains a useful tool to assist in this grandiose endeavor. - Enhanced SRPG Battle Mechanics – Since war is on everyone’s agenda, expect plenty more battles to partake in. Turn-based tactics make a return and an updated battle system make fights both strategic and fast paced! Utilize new extended Action Chains, a higher-level cap, and more to gain the upper hand on the battlefield. Additionally, certain characters can team up and dish out some devastating offense with Co-op Final and Co-op Chain attacks. Oh, there’s also now a Mock Battle mode that can be used to practice new combat tactics and gain EXP/BP.

Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth will be released in the Americas on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in both physical and digital formats on Sept. 5. The European PS4 version will have a physical release, but the PS Vita version will be digital-only. It will be priced at $49.99 for the PS4 and $39.99 for the PS Vita (with commensurate European pricing). The game, originally published/developed by AQUAPLUS, will have its original Japanese audio
