Since the Sixaxis PS3 controller was announced, gamers with below-average intelligence have been trying to make the case that a game can not be good without a controller that shakes. Sony has heard the collective grunts and mumbles of these trogladitical (that means “like cave men”) individuals, and have announced a rumble-enabled PS3 controller.
The Dual Shock 3 controller looks and functions just like a Sixaxis controller…but will shake. Upcoming games, most notably Devil May Cry 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4 will have this available. Some games, however, will have updates available via the PSN, though how many of the released PS3 games will have this, and when future games will be updated is unclear.
