Ubisoft has announced today that the sequel to their hit game Prince of Persia will now officially be titled Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
The name will reflect the Prince’s growth from a rather naive young fighter to a seasoned, darker warrior. From the screenshots and videos out so far, you can tell the mood is much more serious.
“He’s not the young, inexperienced Prince he was on his first adventure,” commented Tony Kee, vice president of marketing for Ubisoft. “He is now a warrior of unmatched skills, with a dark heart and a penchant for pain. Knowing his fated death is imminent, the Prince must summon the powers within him to defend what no enemy can take away — his life.”
Look for this blockbuster to be out in November for the Playstation 2, Xbox, Gamecube, and PC.
