Kwirk + Amazing Tater (GB, 1989/1991) – ENABLE THE LINK CABLE

Kwirk was developed by Atlus and published by Acclaim whereas Amazing Tater was developed and published by Atlus. Gameplay-wise, they are almost identical including the 2-player link cable mode you never played.

The two player link cable mode in each respective game is nothing more than a race-to-the-finish. In other words, who can complete their puzzles faster. There are no powerups or ways to interfere with your opponent’s progress during linked play so the experience is sort of vanilla. That is, if you can find two copies of Amazing Tater as it sells for stupid money these days.
