The Game Gear version of Bubble Bobble has special feature most handheld iterations lack – two player co-op support through the use of the link cable.
The co-op mode is the preferred way to play this iconic game but having a partner let’s you steamroll most stages thanks to the small level design. The music also awkwardly resets with each new level, which is annoying. Still, be sure to #LinkItUp if ever given the chance.
