According to this month’s Electronics Gaming Monthly magazine's Rumor Mill, Microsoft may be planning to make an attempt to buy the huge Japanese publisher, Capcom. As the company behind a long list of international blockbusters, Capcom has a long list of titles that would greatly bolster Microsoft’s exclusive series including Mega Man, Street Fighter, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil and Onimusha. Though this is only a rumor, if this proves true, it would completely rebalance the game industry, and would greatly set back Sony, who would lose several of their most popular franchises.
