Nintendo announced today that is chosen a company to produce high-end DVD viewing to the Wii. Sonic Solutions is providing the playback engine that is already being used by Hollywood Studios. The CinePlayer CE DVD Navigator is capable of supporting all standard video and audio formats, as well additional perks like anamorphic widescreen video, motion menus, and multiple video angles.
