Today Ubisoft has pleased us all in giving us new ways to sneak up behind an unsuspecting victim an slit their throat (we all love it) with the announcement of new downloadable content for the PC and Xbox versions of Tom Clancy?s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory via Xbox Live, for Xbox, or off the [a]http://www.splintercell.com/us/versus_mode.php[aa]Chaos Theory PC website[/a], for the PC.
The content comes in the form of all new maps, for both Versus an Co-op modes for the rather low price of $0, yup they are free.
The Versus map is called Steel Squat, which is available now, is set in Brooklyn, New York. Steel Squat combines both indoor and outdoor gameplay that Ubisoft says ?pushes the capabilities of both Spies and Mercenaries to their limits.? Check out two all new screenshots from Steel Squat[a] https://www.mygamer.com/screenimgs/marked_d1121281898.jpg[aa] here[/a] and [a] https://www.mygamer.com/screenimgs/marked_c1121281898.jpg[aa] here.[/a]
As for the new Co-op maps, Nuclear Plant puts you in Yongbyon, North Korea and United Nations headquarters in New York City. These two maps will be released in the coming weeks
As stated by Ubisoft:
?Nuclear Plant will thrill players with a claustrophobic network of passages, combined with massive open spaces, plenty of loud machines and demanding puzzles (as if stealth wasn?t enough); cooperation will be key to success.?
Check out the screenshot of Nuclear Plant [a] https://www.mygamer.com/screenimgs/marked_a1121281897.jpg[aa] here[/a].
?UN Headquarters offers the opportunity to infiltrate one of the world?s most protected buildings ? and this time, there?s no room for kills or alarms. The only choice: remain invisible.?

And if that wasn?t enough for you, Ubisoft will be releasing another Versus map called Polar Base by the end of the summer to finish off their ?Summer of Chaos.?
