Vin Diesel To Star In Game/Film The Wheelman

Like a steamy office romance, video games and movies form an ever closer working relationship with [i]The Wheelman[/i].

[i]The Wheelman[/i] will be the story of an expert wheelman who must come out of retirement to protect a woman from his past. Production will be headed up by industry staple Midway Games, but will also include two relatively new developers ? MTV Games, and actor Vin Diesel?s Tigon Studios. Diesel?s Tigon Studios was formed in 2002, but has already hit it big with the critically acclaimed [i]The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay[/i]. Vin Diesel will be the star of [i]The Wheelman[/i]

Diesel will also star in the movie version, which is based on the video game. The movie rights have already been bought by MTV Films and Paramount Pictures.

“With The Wheelman we have created the first integrated franchise being launched for both the gaming and film industries,” said Vin Diesel. “In collaborating with Midway, MTV and Paramount, TIGON Studios has brought together an incredible team to execute this project.”
