Two More NeoGeo Arcade Titles on PSN

SNK PLAYMORE is proud to announce the North & South American release of P.O.W. – Prisoners Of War and PREHISTORIC ISLE as PlayStation minis titles on PSP  (compatible with PS3), via the "New Releases" category and the "SNK NEOGEO" Featured Publishers page available on the PlayStation Store from Tuesday, December 20, 2011.

The SNK minis titles are a commemorative "retro-arcade emulation" project that allows players to enjoy a grand collection of action, shooting, platform, and action/puzzle titles. Many of these nostalgic, highly innovative arcade classics released during SNK's Golden Age of action-shooting, etc. during the 80's, are now exclusively available on PSP and compatible on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system as well for even greater enjoyment!

The  previous sets of titles included some of SNK's arcade masterpieces such  as ATHENA, IKARI WARRIORS, GUERRILLA WAR, STREET SMART, VICTORY ROAD,  and VANGUARD, along with a number of other lesser known, yet  revolutionary titles to be enjoyed by both retro gamers and a younger  generation of players alike.

P.O.W. – Prisoners Of War
Control a military prisoner who breaks free from his cell, and must fight through waves of incoming enemy combatants. Fight via close-quarters-combat, or shoot your enemies with weapons they have dropped in this side-scrolling beat 'em up originally released in 1988!

PREHISTORIC ISLE
Pilot a 1930's airplane, and fight against legions of dinosaurs and cavemen over a tropical island filled with mystery and danger! While collecting Speed Up & Power Up items, beware of the numerous traps that await you in this horizontal side-scrolling shooter released by SNK in 1989!
