The Darkness Demo Arrives on Xbox LIVE

Xbox LIVE just got a whole lot darker because 2K Games has released a demo for the company's ultra violent hit comic book-to-videogame adaptation, [i]The Darkness[/i].  In this very mature demo gamers will be treated to the game's single-player mode, and they will be able to play from three early levels in the game, including the Tunnel, Cemetery and Grinders Lane.

[i]The Darkness[/i] is the latest project from developer Starbreeze Studios, the team responsible for the amazing [i]The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay[/i] for the original Xbox.  In [i]The Darkness[/i] players will take on the FPS role of Jackie Estacado as he uses the powers of "the Darkness" while he fights the mafia though the grimy streets of New York City to Kill his uncle Tony and avenge the death of his girfriend.

[i]The Darkness[/i] is rated "M" for mature.  Gamers can let [i]The Darkness[/i] take over right now on both the Xbox 360 and PS3.
