Capcom has recently announced that most of the [i]Street Fighter[/i] anime will be brought to UMD in the second quarter of 2006. This includes all 29 episodes of the excellent [i]Street Fighter II V[/i] series from Manga Entertainment. The first of the six UMDs from the series will be episodes 1-5, and carry a suggested retail price of $19.99. The next five UMDs have not yet received release dates. [i]Street Fighter Alpha: The Movie[/i] will also be available for $19.99 sometime in the second quarter of this year. There is no word on whether Capcom is considering releasing [i]Street Fighter Alpha: Generations[/i] or [i]Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie[/i] on UMD. [i]Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie[/i] is regarded by many to be the best anime of the franchise.
