Sony buys a Guerilla

According to [i]Game Informer[/i] magazine, Sony has announced that it has made a deal with Media Republic in order to obtain [i]Killzone[/i] developer Guerrilla Games. Sony, apparently pleased with the outcome of the first [i]Killzone[/i], has assigned Guerrilla the task of designing the [i]Killzone[/i] sequel for the PS3, and a PSP project relating to the [i]Killzone[/i] world. Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios president Phil Harrison was particularly upbeat about its newest developer saying, ?this acquisition strengthens our development portfolio to take full advantage of the exciting entertainment opportunities provided by PSP, PS3, and beyond.?
