Last week at Microsoft’s E3 keynote [i]Poker Smash[/i] was announced as a new release for Xbox LIVE Arcade on Xbox 360. Through a press release it was confirmed that [i]Poker Smash[/i], an action packed puzzle game with next-gen 3D graphics, will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade before the end of 2007.
[i]Poker Smash[/i], the debut title of independent game developer Void Star Creations, is a fast paced puzzle game featuring 13 original soundtracks set against stunning visuals. Innovative gameplay allows players to experience six unique game modes including action, puzzle, practice, theme playlist, split screen head-to-head and multiplayer tournaments.
"Poker Smash builds on well established match three puzzle mechanics, but adds the extra depth of using poker hands as the matching predicate," stated Drew Card, Creative Director and Co-founder of Void Star Creations. "The result is a fast and fluid game that is very approachable to new players, yet still has the intensity desired by more advanced players."
