If you're like most gamers you've been salivating over all the videos, pictures, and story info you could get your nerdy little hands on concerning Activision and Infinity Ward's immensely anticipated [i]Call of Duty 4[/i] for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. So if just the mention of the next [i]Call of Duty[/i] gets you all giddy then today is your lucky day. The videogame and entertainment software retailer, GameStop, recently announced that "for the first time ever, GameStop will host 'Hands-On' events for one of this year’s hottest video games Activision's, [i]Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare[/i] on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at select GameStop locations nationwide from 9:00 p.m. until midnight. These unprecedented events will allow customers to have an opportunity to play a sampling of [i]Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’s[/i] single-player mode weeks before its national release to the public on November 6, 2007."

Everything is not all peaches 'n cream though, as only a very select few outlets will be participating in the event. "Participation is limited and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 will be available for purchase on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 and has been rated M for Mature for scenes and situations involving intense violence, strong language, blood, and gore.
