The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles, the expansion for the hugely popular The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, was recently announced for the PC. Well, Xbox 360 owners are going to get a piece of the pie too.

“We’re thrilled with the response that Oblivion has received to date and feel that Shivering Isles will offer a whole new and different experience to anyone who played and enjoyed Oblivion,” said Todd Howard, executive producer for The Elder Scrolls.

Shivering Isles will feature more than 30 hours of new lands, creatures and quests. Players will be asked to help Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness, save and defend his parallel realms of Mania and Dementia.

Bethesda Softworks plans to release Shivering Isles through Xbox Live for Xbox 360 owners. But PC owners will still have to make their way to a store to pick up a copy.
