Guitar Hero II is barely even available and already, details surrounding Guitar Hero III are popping up. The game will appear on the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, and wireless guitars will be heavily encouraged (and available). As with the Xbox 360 version, downloadable content will be available for the PS3 and 360 versions, though I this writer’s mind, this may not work out especially well on the Wii, depending on the size of the expansions. Possibly the biggest change is how there will be an online mode that allows for cooperative and competitive multiplayer. The soundtrack was also briefly hinted at. Kai Huang, the mastermind behind the series said that they were pursuing AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and Metallica.
