Sega has announced that a new [i]Golden Axe[/i] game will be developed by Secret Level for the 360 and PS3 in 2007. The game will feature action RPG elements, and will have a host of upgraded features from the original such as new fighting and spell techniques. Scott A. Steinberg, vice president of marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. said “Golden Axe is one of our most treasured brands and is a complete re-imagining of the story that will take gamers on an unforgettable journey. The vision we have for the remake of Golden Axe is nothing short of remarkable and it can only be realized on the PlayStation 3 system and Xbox 360.”
