Dreamfall: The Longest Journey receives numerous accolades.

Funcom announced today that their RPG [i]Dreamfall: The Longest Journey[/i], sequel to the 1999 RPG [/i]The Longest Journey[/i] has received no less then 12 Game of The Year nominations held by websites Gamespot and Gamespy. These 12 nominations are more then any other PC game has received during the whole of 2006. The recommendations have continued through the week, but as this point only another PC game has received the same amount of awards. This is topped only by [i]Gears of War[/i] as the highest awarded game of all the 2006 releases.


The CEO of Funcom offered these words: “The unique amount of world-class awards and nominations for ‘Dreamfall’ demonstrates the unique quality of our games.” and that “We are confident we will deliver the same high quality in the future, and the first to come will be ‘Age of Conan’.”
