Fox Broadcasting announced that it has acquired the rights to produce a TV show based on THQ?s critical and commercial success, Destroy All Humans. The game was a hit on the consoles, and now THQ and Fox hope it will be a hit on prime time television. The show will feature the game?s main alien character, Crypto Sporidium 137, and all his smart-ass remarks and sometimes cruel demeanor. The show will be a computer animated comedy, much like its video game counterpart. No other characters have been announced, and it is still unknown as to whether the TV show will follow the Destroy All Humans plot closely, or if it will only be loosely based on the game. But seeing as how most of Fox?s prime time animated shows have been of the slightly more adult nature, gamers shouldn?t be too worried about Crypto becoming politically correct when he hits the small screen.
