Question of the Day

I'd walk into all stores with a shirt and shoes on. Also I would not hesitate to abandon all tact in conversation. This notion may include utilizing violence to communicate various thoughts.

And I am sorry I missed the discussion on public schools. I have numerous opinions on this matter. I love it how we pay our entertainers millions of dollars and our teachers a pittance, and wonder why we are so well entertained, but stoopid. We are amusing ourselves to death.

"And then the alien anthropologists
Admitted they were still perplexed
But on eliminating every other reason
For our sad demise
They logged the only explanation left
This species has amused itself to death"

You keep the memories. Maybe not the treasures, money or STD's (sorry Andre), but you keep the knowledge and whatever wisdom you gained.

Okay, how about I experience time travel into the near future and so I can get the lottery numbers from different states. I keep the knowledge to make my own "treasures" and before you know it I'm back in Hawaii! Spuds can use my idea as long as he wins like a month later (so the winnings can build up again).

Now that's an interesting concept. You could do all sorts of things. Like hold a bank president hostage until he gives up the secrets to getting into the vault undetected or the account numbers of very prominent people. You could force people to tell you all kinds of secrets, then the day resets and you have the info.

No new Q of the Day? Well I'll do one. If you could kick one person in the balls, or uterus, we don't discriminate, without any backlash, who would it be?

For me it would have to be Bill O'rielly, god I'd give my left hand just to give that bastard a swift kick. Nothing worse than that idiot thinking he know's whats best for everybody and yet, he discriminates agianst minorities, is quick to shoot down others opinions, oh and enjoys phone sex and sexual harrassment. The blind leading the blind indeed.

I would have to go with France as a nation, or maybe just their top dog Jacque Chirac. They pretend to be allies, then stand against us on everything, then back again. You can't slander a friend one day and call him for help the next. I'm big on honor, so dishonorable actions irk me, although I'm sure he has his honor in his eyes.

The QoD for Wed. is: If you could hold a conversation with anyone (only a conversation, no fighting or sex or touching at all), who would it be and what would you say or ask?

If it where done today and this person knew nothing of whats happened since he passed, it would be MLK. The idea comes from a recent Boondocks episode that came out the day before Martin Luther Kings B-day. The episode is about MLK being shot but instead of dying he's in a coma and wakes up in the year 2006. It was a very interesting idea and I would love to see it come to life. Especially how they handled it in that episode with all he worked for mainly going down the drain, and how he ignited the spark that had gone out once agian.

That would be an excellent choice. I would like to speak either directly with Jesus (I mean that's a whole lot of questions I could ask), but since I plan on being in Heaven one day, I'll just wait. Instead, I would speak with someone like Leonardo Da Vinci. He must have seen the world so differently than we do. To pick his brain and find out his motivations would be very interesting.

Or I would speak with Martin Luther (the German). Knowing how he affected pretty much everything about modern society, his perspective would be interesting.

Well, aside from the deep significance of the episode....I also found it funny as hell. Especially how Grandad hated Rosa Parks.

As for who I'd talk with...I don't know.

Ayn Rand or Stephen King. I have found both author's written works very fascinating. With the former, I would discuss her vision on the human ideal and with the latter, I would discuss the storytelling approach.
