Question of the Day

How about the commercials? What was your favorite and why?

Mine was the FedEx commercial. I loved it when he kicked the little dinosaur and then got squashed.

A lot of people say they liked that one, but I thought it was just okay. I liked the Disney commercial before the game, the streaker sheep, the monkey commercial, and the Ameriquest spot.

I hated the Hummer, cell phone/pebble, and the Burger King commercials (among many others).

the hummer was horrible. Of course, my Jeep-lovin brother would say "If I wanted a hummer, I would ask your sister". The monkey-jackass commercial was very funny. I work with both varieties.

wow, I'm I the only one that thinks Necessary Roughness is the best football movie ever, nah.

Necessary Roughness was awesome. They need an unrated version with more Kathy Ireland footage. The best line from the previews though was not in the movie.

Big enemy football player: I've been waitin' for you.
Sinbad: You oughta be waitin' for some guy to cut your hair.

Like I said in some other post, the Amber Lite commercial where they guy tackles the girl and yells "Ya used to be open, but now you're CLOSED."

A friend of mine in college had an enormous mom. She was about 5'5" and weighed well over 300lbs. They only had one bathroom in the house. One night, I was on my way to tap a kidney when the most horrific thing I've ever seen happened. I turned the corner to see his mom riding his dad like a possessed cowboy. They apparently don't shut their bedroom door. It was nasty. Very nasty. I decided to water the tree in the front yard. By the time I came back in, moaning and grunting could be heard throughout the house.

Asylum knows exactly who Greg Davidson is.

I don't think we need to discuss what has been done to us on this forum....haha...But seriously, i'm gonna take a page out of Jonas' book....Considering at the time, i asked his advice on where to take this certain woman....considering i didn't have alot of money at the time.......He pointed out that on the campus there was this one spot surrounded by trees and a gazebo in the middle......So, i went and bought the cheapest, but still halfway tasteful, wine at the store.....We walked down the trail, which was well lit by the way and was often traveled by students going to class.....To the left was the gazeebo and during the day, it didn't look like much....But at night, it was pretty.......oh, i hate to say this word....Romantic.....Anyhoo, to make a long story short, we sat out there for hours talking and drinking on "el cheapo" wine....5 years later, this woman and i have stayed together through that time and have been happily married for going on 2 years...... :meditate:

I never knew you took that advice. Cool. I visited there a time or two . . . or three . . . or. . .

I guess the coolest thing I did on V-day was to propose to my wife. She thought we were going out for a dinner and to visit with some relatives that wanted to see us. I had a little gift for her at each stop (various candies or CD's she likes), every stop also had a note attached to a rose or two. Every stop, someone gave her the roses and each note was part of a poem (yes, I went all out on this one). After dinner at a really expensive restuarant, we went to a final location that had a single round table with the final rose of the dozen. The card asked her to marry me and when she looked around, I was on one knee, ring in hand.

He shoots, he scores!

Valentines day is here. In honor of that . . . What is the most "romantic" thing you've done for someone on V-day or had done for/to you?

I got my girlfriend a necklace with two hearts hooked onto a bigger one. It was supposed to be like our two hearts became one, but she broke up with me before I could give it to her. Bitch. Anyway I guess roses. I don't spend big money on Valentines Day anymore.

Things have been a little slow lately, so let's get some opinions rolling.

In light of the recent news of Dick Cheney accidentally shooting a lawyer, what video games could spawn from this? Be as weird as you want?

Lobbyist Hunter - like Deer Hunter only you shoot lobbyists. Fun for the whole family.

Commando in Chief - an FPS starring Cheney. Picture him running through DC shooting everything up with his trusty shotgun.

Duck Hunt: The Cheney Version......Basically the same as the original Duck Hunt, but each duck has a face of one of Cheney's comrades on it.....
