you gotta hold the knife right. people think you should hold it like you're getting ready to stab downward into something. that really limits you in the possible strikes you could make--pretty much only downard, making you very vulnerable. you want to hold it pointing away from your body.

and i thought a harem was a group of females?
 
I actually spent several hours last night pouring through dictionaries and thesauri in order to come up with an appropriate term to replace harem. The candidates are retinue and thrall. Thoughts?
