whos Jimmy Dougan?

Ok, I am probably going to get ragged on a little for this, but I don't care. It is a good reference.

Above, we were talking about the clap. In the movie A League of their Own, which coincidentally features Rosie O'donnel, Tom Hanks plays a character named Jimmy Dugan. The movie actually has many good lines beyond the "there's no crying in baseball." One of them is in a scene where two young boys walk up to Dugan and ask for his autograph on a baseball. Dugan scribbles something and hands it back to the boys. One of the boys reads the autograph aloud. "Avoid the clap, Jimmy Dugan" is what it says. As the boys walk off confused, Dugan yells, "Hey that's good advice."
