Anyone know any cheap games?

Probably 80-90% of the PS2 catalogue (less so for the GBA, at least for the good titles) is available for less than $20. What kind of stuff do you have already, or that you like in general?

$5 N64 games are more of a crapshoot. You'll have no trouble finding many of the sports titles (soccer games excluded) for that, or duds like Forsaken, but the better titles have held their value surprisingly well. Here's a couple of quality games you may have more like than others in finding on the cheap: Mischief Makers and Silicon Valley Space Station. Once again, if you want more recommendations you gotta be specific about your interests.

under 20$ for the ps2 is simple, most of the greatest hits, which are available for $19.99, except for the getaway, avoid that piece of crap

Like...underground hits. Games that aren't popular, but are really good. Klonoa being one. Technic Beat being another.

If it's anything like the PS1 version, Klonoa 2 won't be under $20 for much longer.

OK, "unique, cheap games" makes a lot of sense. Here's a few PS2 ideas to get you started.

Disaster Report - survival horror-like, but with a crumbling city as the obstacle rather than an armada of zombies.

Road Trip/ChoroQ - cutesy carPG sims with a bit of a dodgy driving engine at times but enough aspects of development and fun collectathonsto make it worthwhile. If you dig those, then there's a couple of further spinoffs you might wanna look for: Gadget Racers (pretty much a straight arcade game) and Seek and Destroy (with tanks, this time.)

Adventures of Cookie and Cream - a VERY cute platform with a unique control system. More two than one-player friendly, for sure. There's a review on this site, so be sure to check that out.

Frequency/Amplitude - Harmonix's first PS2 games, which consist of rhythm response and pattern matching with the controller buttons. Totally simple to pick up, but hard to get a hang of the rhythm with some of the faster beats. Awesome in multiplayer.

I actually have this game. I thought it was so incredibly hard...

Serious Sam...Suikoden 3 (it's 27 99, but you'll get hundreds of hours from it), RE Outbreak 1, and a few others...

Yes, try saturday night racing or pro race driver both are below $20 and if you are lucky $10 dollars, both are excellent racing games for less than 20 dollars

Nah it's not advance wars. It's story-driven, fairly basic, but has some interesting concepts. I liked it, even though it can be finished in about five-ten hours.

Still, Krool, can you get more specific? Like genres, anything like that? There are just so many games.

FPS or platformers for the Ps2 OR PC Games that are free and require very low power :D.
