i made this so that is people who have oblivion can share quests, and how to get items.... so my guy sucks so someone tell me how to get good armor?!?

thats the problem i cant find anybody! ive killed every bandit along the main road around the capitol.
go into a town. lure a few monsters into the town, a guard will come in and try to help, let him get killed or beaten up, then take his armor.
ha ha it worked spud, i got Kvatch armor now. i had lured two scamps who owned the guard. i still would like to know how to find glass though...

The best part of this is that, since Oblivion is so open-ended, you really CAN do something like this without it being a "cheat" or a "hack". it's a true role-playing choice, whether or not you'rre willing to sacrifice some hapless guard's life just so you can get some armor...
