Nah... being surrounded by big piles of B- and C-list games, all waiting for reviews sort of burns the desire to buy a game "just because" out of one's system REALLY fast. I bought God of War because it looks great and so many people I trust have said its great.
No, I buy HARDWARE-- mice, keyboards, mousepads, external, USB doohickies, lights, monitors, speakers... you name it... "just because". My freaking cube at work, filled just with the crap I've used for a while at home, looks like a freaking tech booth at E3. Seriously, I'm the guy they invented the "USB Coffee-Cup Warmer" for.
