lets go =)

1. Do not share items or account information with another person you know online.

2. Be careful that there can be a character with a similiar name of your friend, or guildmate trying to borrow item from you. Confirming the person's identity via messenger, phone etc are good solutions.

3. Be careful with the files you open (recent downloads). Also I'd recommend checking every downloaded file with an anti-virus. Dont click the link if you dont know if its safe. I played wow before.ebay is the best choice for the gold =). Silkroad and kinght online. I choose Gkplayer for gold. selling gold like 4 years.

4. Please be careful to verify alphabets when transferring items with a character that use I and l in its name. w and vv. NI and M. cobra_ and cobra. lots of similar name.

5. Do not trust a person who offers you first to pay money and give item for upgrading it. Most of cases that a person approaching to you saying he/she will upgrade your item are fraud. The person will only take your items and money, and won't return the item back to you.

I think these are really great tips and that all of us should follow them. Sometimes it is very intreging to open files that you get sent because they say it is something that you will need in order to play a certain game or need because the server you are playing on is going to be updated. I always trust my friends on Xfire so I do not know how to avoid this scamming behaviour on that part!

These seem rather obvious, but some of us do seem to need a reminder. Thanks I guess!

And don't click random links, double check the ones you do. Though if you're not careful or just plain unlucky, nothing can help.

If someone wants to trim your armor for free, they can't. It's impossible. Also if you change your password and then log out expecting to receive free stuff upon re-log... you don't. You'll get scammed! :(

RuneScape, how much you've taught me about scams...

These are wonderful tips that every gamer should know. Because as we all know, it's not fun to be victimized by something fraudulent. I guess the rule of thumb is that when you play games, especially if it's online, make sure to just always be cautious.

Thanks for the reminder. We gamers sometimes forget about these security measures when playing the favourite games.
