For anyone who hasn't heard, Fallout 3 is in production by Bethesda (makers of Oblivion) and as one of the better RPG makers this game looks to be getting the full Bethesda overhaul. The series has been around for awhile with the original Wasteland (1986), and 2 'spiritual successors' in the Fallout series. Fallout 2 was released in 1998 and as Black Isle did not have the resources to develop the series, it was sold to Bethesda and production started soon after Oblivion was finished. Set to take place on the east coast of the post apocalyptic United States this series looks to be another RPG gem.

I played Fallout on the original Xbox. It was like Baulder's Gate but in a waste land. I love those Action RPG games.
 
Yeah, Brothers of Steel i believe? That was a offshoot for the series. The others are BA RPGs along the same line
