If you could be any video game character, who would you be?

I would be Kazuma Kiryu from Yakuza, probably. Dude is a bonafide badass and considered legendary even in his games. He also seems to have a thing for protecting those weaker than him, be it a defenseless puppy or children. He even runs an orphanage. I find him to be a pretty admirable...

    release date VS quality

It IS kind of annoying when a game keeps getting delayed, though! I mean, sure, I appreciate they are working out all the kinks before release, but sometimes it just makes me think they announced the game too early and should've waited more time.

What's your favorite game (musical) score?

I hold a special place in my heart for the soundtrack to Persona 4, it always makes me nostalgic. It's truly special for me. Right now, though, the soundtrack I'm listening to is the soundtrack to Ryu ga Gotoku 0 (Yakuza 0). It's mostly electronic music and it's pretty damn hype, specially some...

Do You Buy Games On Day-one Release?

I almost never do. There's some rare exceptions such as Dark Souls 2 (only game I've ever pre-ordered) or the upcoming Yakuza 5 (I want to pre-order but don't have the funds, want to buy as close to release as possible). But I usually really, really don't, I only buy on day one if it's a really...

It's October, what horror games have you played so far?

Project Zomboid is awesome. Is it out of Early Access or is it still in development? Feels like it's been forever since I backed them way before they even came to Steam. Do they have NPCs now? That's the one thing I've been waiting for... Dead Rising is pretty awesome, but I liked 2 more than...

    What's your Sims strategy?

I usually just lock them inside a house or room with no exit door or something, or find some other way to make their life miserable, because I'm just that much of an asshole.

One Game You're Most Addicted To?

Yeah, that's the good thing about GW2, no subs. I've actually wanted to play it because of that very reason. I don't think I could handle a game with subs, I would have an urge to play it 24/7, as you just said.

    Price!

I think the price is about right, honestly. It's not too expensive for what you get and it definitely is superior to the extremely dated PS3.

    What is your favorite RPG?

I think I would have to go with Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. It excels in every aspect, in my opinion. The soundtrack and combat system are top-tier and I've yet to see a turn-based RPG with a combat system as good as Nocturne's, other than Shin Megami Tensei IV which is its sequel.

It's October, what horror games have you played so far?

I haven't played any but I plan on borrowing Yakuza: Dead Souls from a friend. It's got zombies and stuff, so it counts right? I also hear the framerate is horrifically bad!

    gaming on a budget...

Even with Euro, Europeans always seem to get the short end of the stick compared to USA. It's not rare to see a game that costs $60 in USA costs 60 Euro in Europe, even though the Euro is worth more than US dollars!

One Game You're Most Addicted To?

Haha, that's kinda silly, you basically quit a drug to get hooked on another kinda similar drug.

How old were you when you first got into gaming?

I really don't know how old I was, but I was a very young kid. My parents got me into it with a NES. I mostly remember playing Super Mario Bros 3. Other than that, my memory is quite bad so it's all a blur...

    gaming on a budget...

Well, thanks for your point of view. I guess you know better on this than me, since I do not have children. It might also be entirely a matter of location, too. Game prices have changed more in some place than in others. I think that, for example, in the US there hasn't been much of a change but...

Is $60 a good price for games?

More people should have this mentality. Patient gaming is really rewarding and much cheaper than buying stuff day one. Save the day one purchases to games you really really really want, everything else wait for a while. Just have to be careful and avoid any topics discussing the games, to avoid...

    Achievements / Trophies

That's probably the best thing about achievements. I know that I, personally, would have never bothered with, for example, the koi-koi and Mahjong minigames in Yakuza 3/4 had it not been for the trophies tied to them. But I'm glad I did because I learned of some really fun real-life games. I...

    Best PSP games?

Dissidia Duodecim is the best game on PSP, in my opinion. A pseudo-RPG fighting game featuring characters from every major Final Fantasy game (up to XIII). The gameplay is excellent and there's a LOT of content. Plus, if you can find someone to play against (shouldn't be too hard, there are ways...

Is $60 a good price for games?

But that's an EA game, they charge however much they want and most of their games are repackaging of year-old versions of the same game. People eat it up, though, so they keep doing it!

    gaming on a budget...

Gaming really isn't that much more expensive nowadays than before. In fact I would say it's even more affordable than ever now, if we count all the insane sales games go on every other day on all the different platforms. It's actually a fairly cheap hobby if you get rid of the "gotta play it day...
