Anyone else get motion sickness from games?

Fortunately, I haven't experienced motion sickness too often, unless I'm scanning around at an incredibly fast rate. Mods that add realism to certain games and include head bobbing really sets off my motion sickness though. Maybe I've just been treading a fine line between dizziness and stability!

    "Old-school" RPGs

Back in the SNES era, I was all for JRPGs. The Final Fantasy series and Chrono Trigger were my absolute favorite games. I've developed more of a taste for action RPGs over time. I've probably spent more hours playing Diablo II and Lord of Destruction than I have on all other games combined.

Elder Scrolls Online ( TESO) goes B2P

Thanks for the update, I'm certainly interested in this new development! I've always heard sub-par reviews of TESO but I've always wanted to try it. I couldn't justify the subscription cost but now that its B2P, I might give it a shot!

    Freelancer

I remember Freelancer! It was such an incredible game for it's time. I always hoped they'd make an HD re-make of it, but I sure hope you're right about Star Citizen being fairly similar!

How much time would it take to complete your Steam library?

This is an awesome site! I don't even have a very large library and It'd take me 200 days of non-stop playing. Although knowing how slow I am in finishing games, it'll likely take me double the time!

Will arcade games make a comeback?

It will take something revolutionary to bring arcade games back into mainstream fashion, at least in the West. Paying for play just can't compete with the many cheaper options you have access to at home. However, the recent trends of barcades may turn it around. Pair up arcade gaming with good...

What do you think of game bundles?

I love them! Often game bundles will have a couple of great games I was looking to buy anyways. Even better, the price of the bundles rarely exceeds the cost of 1-2 full-priced games! The inclusion of many other smaller games also exposes me to many games I would never have even heard of as well.

Is anyone else getting tired of farming games?

It does get a little repetitive, but sometimes they are great for a quick burst of fun while waiting for something. Have a five minute break in the middle of your day? Just pull out your mobile and start things building until your next break! The genre is getting a bit saturated at this point...

How often do you upgrade your system?

I never really upgrade for the sole purpose of getting the newest and best graphics card out there. I only have a switch once my hard drives eventually give out or my CPU won't even start anymore, which is every 5 years or so. Once that happens, however, I'll spring for a power set up to last me...

Rate the Gamecube on a 1-10 scale

I'd probably rate it an 8 as well! It was a fairly powerful machine with a unique design that really made it stand out against its competitors. More importantly were the games for the Gamecube. In my opinion, the Gamecube defined the genre of party games with a great selection of multiplayer...

    Captain N the Game Master

Haha, I absolutely loved Captain N the Game Master! I used to be a sucker for those old school video game-based cartoons like Mega Man and Super Mario Bros. I wouldn't want to watch them again. I think seeing those shows again would ruin my nostalgia because of how cheesy they were!

    What's your favorite MMORPG?

Haven't really played many others since WoW, which was just so amazing and revolutionary at the time. I wish I had been around for the Runescape era as MMORPGs currently seem to be in a slump. I've only heard bad things about relatively recent ones like the Elder Scrolls one and Final Fantasy XIV.

    What is everyone playing currently?

Haven't found a game in the past few months to hook me for much longer than a week. Playing some State of Decay, which is fun but it's getting kind of repetitive to me. I've heard a lot of good things about Shadow of Mordor so I'll have to check it out.

    Favorite Smash Brothers Character?

My favorite has to be Captain Falcon. How could anyone not love Captain Falcon? I'm definitely not very good at Smash, so he may be one of the worse technical characters for all I know, but he's hilarious!

    Games to look out for?

I'm still drooling at the thought of GTA V on the PC! Haven't played many of the recent GTA games at all so it'll be a nice shock to get back into it. I'm just worried that I'll need to update my graphics card to play it at all! :)

    What's in your gaming collection?

I used to have a huge game collection, but because most of them were NES and SNES games, I've lost most of them throughout the years. At least nowadays, with systems like Steam, my game collection will be available anywhere and anytime, at least as long as those companies survive!

    Favourite N64 game?

Goldeneye 64 has to be the best N64 game in my opinion. It was the first FPS multi-player game I've ever experienced and I've had a blast playing it for months with my friends! A close second has to be Smash Bros. These games were so revolutionary!

Is anyone playing The Forest pre-alpha from Steam?

Haven't heard about this game until recently. I'm glad to see they're trying to buck the trend of sleazy early-release games by having greater transparency. I'll definitely keep an eye out when it is released!

Do you like single player or multi player content better?

I've never been a big fan of multi-player gaming. I don't have many friends who have similar tastes in games than I do, and grouping up with strangers on the internet always seems like such a gamble. I'd much rather prefer exploring a large world on my own!

If you could choose a company as a sponsor for your pc gear, who would it be?

Coke and Doritos. I'd be in it just for the free samples I'd ask from them. I may come out of my gaming sessions as big as a balloon but it would be very very worth it!
