    Board Games?

I did join the chess society when I was in high school, but I've hardly played it since. I do have Tabletop Simulator though, so I guess I could play almost any board game I desire if I want to :P

    Speed Runs

I've only followed a few speedruns of games I really enjoy. Some of the more popular ones have phenomenal records, especially Pokemon where they aim to beat the Elite Four and Pokemon champion in just a couple hours!

What is your favourite type of game?

MOBA and FPS for the fast-paced multiplayer element, with no need for grind like most MMORPGs. For single player games I prefer roguelikes, tower defense and other unique indie games.

    GTA V: Rockstar Banhammer

They did ban many players previously for using single-player mods though, I'm not sure if their bans have already been lifted. As someone who played GTA IV mods pretty extensively I would be happy to see the ban be lifted entirely. It's generating plenty of negative publicity on an otherwise...

What are some good Indie PC Games?

Lots of great titles available on Steam, such as The Binding of Isaac, Super Meat Boy, FTL, Five Nights at Freddy's.

    First Person Shooter

CounterStrike: Global Offensive offers a bit more realism and depth than most other shooters out there (looking at you Call of Duty). It also has a very active competitive scene if you're into such a thing.

    Best Free PC Games

Steam has a very solid selection of games, DotA 2 and Team Fortress 2 are really well-received, and there is no pay-to-win element since they make money solely off cosmetics.

What is your opinion on the growing eSport scene?

Great for the scene of course. Gives good exposure to the game, especially since really good players who dedicate lots of time to the game might even go pro and make lots of money!

    A short Finn greets you!

Looks like you're quite the avid Steam User, with CS:GO, TF2 and Civ:V. What's your steam username? That LoL though, time to move on to DotA 2! :P

    Counter Strike: Global Offensive

Try learning all the important flashes and smokes, it makes all the difference at silver level of play. You can single handedly defend certain choke points in maps such as Dust II B site if you do it right. Nuke is quite the CT-sided map though, I don't really like it and avoid playing it in...

Any ideas for a new console?

Well Nintendo seems to be developing some new console to bring together all the current media platforms together. It's an interesting and novel concept to say the least.

    Too old to play games?

20+ and I'm already feeling pretty old as a gamer, my reflexes have slowed down a little but I can still enjoy most games easily. However it gets a bit more lonely since many of my friends have stopped gaming :/

    Counter Strike: Global Offensive

I've played it quite a bit, there's a problem with hackers and cheaters lurking in competitive play though. That said the game is rapidly gaining a following with the recent Katowice tournament having a prizepool of 100,000 dollars.

    on your own?

Agreed, people's notion of gaming together nowadays is just going online to play LoL/DotA/Call of Duty as a team. It's not as often that people actually physically meet up to game together anymore, which is a real pity.

    Random Game Game (lol)

That's easy for any older gamers! Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. My turn: Where can you find the blood of tofu

    Hotline Miami 2

Same old tired formula as Hotline Miami and overpriced. A pass from me.

Giving away a FREE TF2 hat!

Ended on Dec 23. OP never even gave a hat in the end because of some silly condition, what a cheapo.

    Types of gamers

I'd say core gamer. Gaming is my favorite hobby but I always try to draw a line and maintain a healthy balance with real life commitments. However deep down inside if I could do whatever I wanted I'd probably become a hardcore gamer!

    Sid Meier's Civilization

I'm not a fan of Beyond Earth, but Civ 4 and Civ V are simply amazing in terms of depth and replayability.

What PC game in your opinion has the best community?

Still paid servers on Minecraft aren't as nice, there's a divide between people who pay real money and those who don't.
