There's a bunch of them out there that stood out. R-Type, Robocop Vs Teminator, Kensiden, Golden Axe, Rhastan, and Phantasy Star. There's a bunch more, but this was awhile ago.
I remember first walking into the arcade and there were several Primal Rage games out and they were bombarded with gamers trying to to get a glimpse of the game. Sure it made it to the consoles of the time, but I felt it was short on the graphics because of the technological limitations of the...
I'm glad they are gone. They get bad after awhile. It didn't bother me before, but now that the bar has been raised, why go back to the bleeps and bops.
I hate to see only 2 main competitors in the market. We need the Wii U around. I doubt they can make a comeback and become a major player. But at least they can more popular and get gain some shares in the market. Maybe a price reduction and more hit titles will help.
You know it's hard to point out one villain that stands out the most because every sequel has a different villain. I'm going to say Dr Robotnik. Why? He was in every sonic game and therefore you couldn't forget him. He was always there for the next game and next console. From 2D to 3D. He...
It was contra. My lucky friend had gotten a nes before everyone else and news broke about the code. So we all rushed over to try it out. Sure enough, it worked.
I can't really put my finger on it because I was a big sega fan at the time. I think a friend of mine loaned me his PS1 and the games I remember the most were, hot shots golf and the original resident evil. I think those were the first games I played on the PS1. The miniature golf section of...
The original gameboy does have a place in history. Never before could this level of gaming be taken on the go. It sure made the bus ride to and from college bareable. If i'm not mistaken, wasn't the battery life on these things about 20 hours or so?
I had problems passing that part of the mission. Just time the jump right to get to the other side of the metal walkway. Then run til you get to the free fall. The hardest part of the running part was for some reason if you get too far ahead or run into something you would actually start...
I was heavily addicted to playing COD: Black OPs Zombie games, Kino Der Toten. For some reason I loved the intense action and the reflexes needed to dodge zombies around the stage was absorbing and highly addictive. I also broke the controller because I pressed on the run button so hard...
I forgot about this game. I can't believe it didn't cross my mind earlier. I hated Pac Man. I didn't see the point of gobbling up little dots and running away from ghost. Didn't seem fun to me. Played it maybe twice in the arcades. The Atari 2600 version had to be the worst arcade to...
Did it bother you that the ONE was a step lower in the hardware department when you matched up the spec against the PS4? Was it a factor when making a purchase of either or?
Rule of thumb for every piece of new technology that comes out. Wait a year before purchasing. Let all the early purchasers deal with all the bugs. Give time for the manufacturers to build the patches. And finally let it drop in price around christmas or black friday.
The home computer packs more punch than a PS4. Do you still want one? I'm sure the PS4 will be sold for another 4 to 6 years before finally being discontinued. The home computer will be leaps and bounds superior in every way by then. The games will be spectacular on the PC. You still want...
What do you think Nintendo needs to do get more of the market shares? Should they start doing adult theme movies? All this kiddie crap is turning me away.
I have played Two Souls and Infamous1. So yeah, thanks for the recommendations. I will try INfamous 2 and the Uncharted series after I'm done with The Evil Within.
I agree with most here have already said. PC will never die and eventually people will catch on and get tired of having to upgrade to the nex gen consoles and drop another 700 bucks for it. Just upgrade your PC. It be cheaper and it has multi usage.
