No. I have never done this nor played on a "private server." I don't think it's a good thing to do. Some games have a free trial, which should be enough to see if you think you'd like it or not, in my opinion. I can usually tell right away if I'm going to like something or not.

It seems that every game I have looked at lately requires a minimum of 4GB. That's the very minimum though. I'd suggest more. You probably should go ahead and upgrade, although I know sometimes it's not that easy to start upgrading.

There are a number of free to play games (of course, they all have things you can buy, but you don't have to). It depends on what kind of games you like to play. Secret World, Rift, League of Legends... It would also help to know what you were playing before, so we don't list that one. ;)

If you're just looking for something to kill a little time, like waiting to pick someone up or sitting in a waiting room, what's a good game to play? I don't really want anything that I have to play daily or even on a regular basis, just something fun to kill a little time.

If so, what? Video games can teach some good problem solving skills and team work as well as motor skills. I think games too often get a bad rap, but they can also be a good thing.

Does anybody have some suggestions for good games for younger kids? Gaming can be great for hand eye coordination as well as other skills. Of course, I think kids should always be supervised and their game time limited, but games can teach a lot.

I used to play WoW pretty hardcore until recently. I've done heroic raiding, rated PvP, and I had a blast. Now, hardly any of my friends still play, so I'm losing interest, but it was a fun ride.

I guess that "exclusiveness" or making friends jealous thing works for kids, but when it's the parent deciding whether or not to fork over the extra cash, that isn't even on the list. We still enjoy PS3 and our PC games just fine.
