Nintendo's handheld devices will probably last another 4 years or so. The 3DS itself is already on the way out with the New 3DS having exclusive games and continuing to have exclusive games. If the New 3DS sells close to the old 3DS then we're looking at a lot more Nintendo in our future.

The Vita is my favorite console. It's the one I've logged the most hours playing games with and the device I've had the most extensive library on. Lots of great experiences have been had and will continue to be had.

These games are coming onto home systems. Q*Bert was announced yesterday, for instance. Other games have been based off of them and such in the past as well. I don't think Arcades as they once were will become alive again, but the games that were once housed inside them will continue to be reborn.
