trading games

so i'm thinking of trading out some older games in order to cut the cost of getting a new one. specifically fire emblem 2.

it makes me sad to trade games for new ones...cause i like the idea of having a collection. but the truth is, some games just aren't very good and/or are not worth keeping after playing through them again. i guess it's just the feeling that i paid 50 bucks for them at one point and am potentially only getting a few dollars in return now...

what a dilema...

You should probably just sell on on eBay or something. Trading games in is only good when they're running specials, like trade in any three non sports games for get some new game or something.

ya maybe. i guess i just assumed most people would not pay much for ebay games... that i'd get the same price, especially after paying ebay their royalty.

how much is it anyway? i've never sold

True that, the normal trade-in cost is awful, don't bother with it.

You'll proibably get twice in cash what you would get on trade in.

Ebay is like 55 cents per auction. It's not bad at all. I have some games I'm going to put up... maybe I should try selling them here first.

I was thinking of creating a store here, where we would give points for trade ins. We would put new games in the store, and users can use their points to buy new games. I was thinking of allowing post points and what not to count for store points as well..

mygamer should hire private investigators to get ahold of the employers of the people with the most mygamer points and turn them in for always being on non-work related websites =)

my company is not even aware that i HAVE internet access. which is why half of my posts are so scatterbrained. always have to be prepared to alt-tab to something productive-looking.

I'm thinking of setting my home computer up as a proxy server so I can have access at work. Not sure if I want to deal with the security issues, though.

all i used to do was trade in games at EB or GS, believe you me, eBay is the way to go.
