Well, to go along with their pretentious price and attitude, Sony has come up with a pretentious slogan for the PS3.
"This is Living"
That's exactly the kind of slogan you'd expect to see from an exclusive auto manufacterer like Mercedes-Benz or Bentley, or maybe really high priced kitchen appliances. In short it's the kind of slogan that typically goes with over-priced shiny stuff that does way more than you need it to. Sounds like a perfect match to me.
Here's the thing though, the gaming market is not full of execs and professionals and their spoiled spouses. It's full of work-a-day joes and kids. This slogan is just one more way to alienate their target market.
Way to go Sony.
