A question for my American friends.

How much would it cost to send, say, a paperback novel from Chicago to South Carolina, for example (halfway across the country or so), by regular ground mail? A rough estimate is all I need, preferably from someone who's actually used US Post to ship packages.

Don't use the postal service. Go with Federal Express or UPS. They are better at international deliveries. The cost should be less than $20, and somewhere around $10 depending on the weight
