Games you never finished?

I never actually got around to finishing GTA Liberty City Stories. I got stuck at the mission where you have to drive that little RC Car and plant bombs underneath some vehicles, while being shot at by the mafia or whatever. It used to drive me nuts, so I just gave up, and I haven't really played it since, lol. So, what games have you given up on?

Well I guess it isn't really my problem, but I never finished Battlefield 4. On the Xbox 360, there was this weird bug that just wiped all your campaign progress. It really sucked. I tried getting back into it again, but I couldn't bring myself to repeat all the missions again and find the collectables. I just left it the campaign and played multiplayer. Oh well.

The one game that I have still yet to finish is Dark Souls II. I got stuck on trying to kill Neshandra and gave up for a while as I was getting frustrated. I then got immersed in Fifa 15 and haven't found the time to go back and finish this.

I've never finished the first Sonic game. I really enjoyed that game but since there aren't any save states for the Sega. Genesis I had to start right from the beginning each attempt at finishing the game and after a while I just got bored with it, and I never realized that I've never seen the later rounds until I randomly landed on a YouTube video showing each stage leading up to the final one.

I have never finished a Final Fantasy game since Final Fantasy 4! The bloody games are way to long and take too much time that I rather spend on something more productive in life. Also, I have never finished any Resident Evil beyond Resident Evil 2, because it became boring after the second game and I grew out of zombie games. I have never finished a Gran Turismo game ever, but I did come close to finishing Gran Tursimo 3, I simply couldn't finished the last few races due to me lacking funds to upgrade my fastest car. I have never finished a Mario game since Mario World nor have I ever finished a Zelda game since Legend of Zelda - however, one of the best Super NES games I ever finished was "The Secrets of Evermore," which I highly recommend people play!

Truth is, I rarely finish 80% of the games I've played, but the ones I did are still embedded in my mind and always brings good ole game memories when I think of them.

Never beat Shadow of the Colossus, I know how popular it is but it just didn't do anything for me, after a few bosses I sort of just stopped playing. Same thing applies to Darksiders 2 (loved the first, the second was such a snoozefest with artificial length) and Fallout New Vegas.

Monster Hunter. As much as I enjoyed the game I found it too difficult to kill the G-rank Fatalis. It requires almost perfect concentration since the monster can easily one-hit you.

I always finish the games i start. I usually can not quit until i get everything and beat the game. Sometimes i stop playing them for a while and come back But I always have to finish the game. Once I finish it I have a ice wide opened game with all the features unlocked. I think because that is what i aim to do with every game is unlocking all the features, it pushes me to finish them faster.

I have yet to finish Fallout: New Vegas. I would play it so much last year, then I just stopped for some reason. I kept telling myself that I would get back to it, but then the seasons changed and I just wasn't indoors that much. I may blow the dust off of my Fallout: New Vegas and try to finish it this winter. There are only a handful of games that I really want so I'm going to be doing a lot of back tracking to see if there are other games that I have yet to finish.

There's too many of these, I'm literally the WORST when it comes to finishing games.

Countless times have I started games and gotten bored or just simply forgot I had it.
It's the same when I buy new games on sale and such, I forget I have them and I never even START playing them. GAH. :(

I have a lot of backlog games that I have to return to someday. Once I get stuck, I leave the game for a while. Sometimes I forget since I have a huge library of games (handheld/console). I still have to finish Bayonetta and Dead Space 2 and 3 to name a few. It's also the hype of a newly released game. For example I'm playing Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolutions right now but I got to have Persona Q, so I end up buying and playing the new game instead. Then alternate between both or more. Or go back to old titles like Tekken 6/Tag 2 which story mode I have already finished and it's a fighting game so you only stop when you're tired. I also think it's because I live with nongamers. I can survive weeks or months without gaming because of you know life. Sometimes they do enjoy Dance Central 3 though. Mostly they're casual. My sis likes RE6 (bought it because of the Leon Ada thing lol) because it's co-op. She has a preference with characters (she prefers Helena and Sherry only) so I finished the rest of the game all by myself.

Most cheap games i never finished just because the games are so bad that it is not worth it. Probably the only game I´ve seen mentioned here that I never finished was don´t starve.. I thought it was a good game up until I learned there were very specific nights that you had to prepare for in advance.. so you couldn´t just play naturally.

I also never got to level cap in Age of Conan because it was such a horrible boring game. Most MMORPGs I at least get to level cap before deciding if I want to keep playing.

How often do you find yourself going back and dusting off old games that you never finished the first time around? I ask, because more often than not I completely forget to ever go back to the game to finish it as I get caught up in playing newer games or other games in my backlog.

Umm, it might be funny to some of you GTA specialists, but I never finished GTA San Andreas, yeah it's a bit of a shame for me, but one mission (I can't remember) I got stuck on it and never completed it fully.

It's usually after I finish a game that I really wanted to beat and there are no new games that I really want to play. Usually, after I'm done with a game I get this "hmmmm, now what?" kind of feelings, which leads me to a search for what to play next. If I'm really anticipating a game, I won't even take a look at my backlog because I know I will only be thinking about playing that game, and any other game will get neglected. When I go back to play one of my older games I want to give it as much time as I would with a new game. Also, when it comes to a game like Fallout or anything else that has RPG elements to it, it's going to take me a couple of days to remember where I am and what exactly I was doing the last time I played.
