Cicadas

I dont know where everyone else lives, but here in the Chicago-Land area, Cicadas are everywhere. they come around like once every 17 years and are super loud. They are so many of them. You just drive like one block, and you will hit like a dozen on your windshield. My car is flithy cuz of it.

Huh - in Jersey the 17 year cicadas hit a couple of years ago. One spot where they buried themselves in the ground had been paved over for a parking lot. But when they woke up they buried through the asphalt and surprised the hell out of some shoppers. Ah to have seen that!
