They are indeed made by Hostess.
 
The only reason i've ever even heard of chocodiles before is because of a reference made by that alien-creature in American Dad... hm, that's probably bad. Or good, if you're looking at it from the nutritional standpoint (but why on earth would you want to do that? :p)

Personally, I'd rather have a donation of Thin Mints. Those are muy delicioso. Or a truckfull of Twizzler cherry bites/nibs.... mmmmm, nibs.
