That is a definite rumor, there is no way they are going to make us purchase an HDD for the ps3 in order to play games. Sony knows that nobody bought the HDD for the ps2 so why will they do it again?

They are most likely going to charge less then the other two consoles, this is simple economics. As price increases demand decreases, and as price decreases demand increses. This is just a simple business technique. The console will probably be sold around $200, just like the game cube.
