THQ announced this morning that latest edition of the [i]Smackdown![/i] series, [i]WWE Smackdown vs. RAW[/i], has been officially shipped out to stores. A PlayStation 2 exclusive, [i]SvR[/i] will add a boat load of new features to the table, such as online play, superstar voice overs, and new gameplay mechanics.
“The SmackDown! franchise is the mostly highly regarded wrestling series of all time,” stated Philip Holt, Senior Vice President of Product Development, THQ. “We know SmackDown! fans have been waiting a long time for the ability to battle it out online, now they finally can go head to head with fellow wrestling fans from near and far.”
[i]Smackdown! vs. Raw[/i] will be rated T for teen.
