Tokyo Game Show Update: Capcom and Koei preparing for PS3 launch

At the upcoming annual Tokyo Game Show, Capcom and Koei will be showing off their hard work by having several playable PlayStation 3 titles. Capcom has promised 12 demo units of Devil May Cry 4 and Koei is looking to have playable versions of its PS3 titles including, Fatal Inertia, Bladestorm, Ni-Oh and Mahjong Taikai IV.

In addition to the PS3 showings, Koei will be demonstrating Samurai Warriors Wave for the Nintendo Wii, and Capcom will be giving a hands-on playing time with the Xbox 360 exclusive, Lost Planet.


Taking more of a backseat to the PS3s public playable debut will be Capcom's God Hand (developed by Clover Studio) for the PS2, and PSP titles including Power Stone Collection, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd and Capcom Classics Collection. Making a showing for the DS will be MegaMan Rebirth by Phoenix Wright.

Other notable showings at the Tokyo Game show will include Koei's PS2 titles Sangokushi 11, G1 Jockey 4, Harukanaru Toki no Naka De, Samurai Warriors 2 Empires and Nobunaga's Ambition. Also, Dynasty Warriors Mahjong will appear on PSP and DS, while Pocket Scenario Series Harukanaru Toki no Naka De will make a DS only appearance.
